Writing our name

The following are guidelines for writing our company name in a formal communication (i.e., a press release, offer letter, etc).

On the first reference within a document, the name of the company must always be written as “DXC Technology.” Thereafter within the same document, the company can be referred to simply as “DXC.

Do this:

  • Always capitalize “DXC”.
  • Put a space between “DXC” and “Technology”.
  • Avoid putting a period between “DXC” and “Technology” (except in the URL).
  • Always capitalize the “T” in “Technology”.
  • Avoid abbreviating “Technology” as “Tech”.

Never do this:

  • DXC Tech
  • dxc technology
  • DXCTechnology
  • DXC TECHNOLOGY

Writing our company URL

We have to take extra care in writing our company URL.

Our logomark also represents our home page domain. However, since .technology is not a common domain, when presented on its own, “dxc.technology” may not be recognized as a URL. When writing the link in print or text, add the “www.” in front of “dxc.technology”.

When the URL lives as a live link, remove the www. to reinforce our name and logomark.

Even though in all other instances we capitalize “DXC” and “Technology”, here we follow the standard for URLs to be all lowercase.

Print:

  • Write: www.dxc.technology.
  • Make all letters in the URL lowercase.
  • Include “www.” for context in a non-digital environment.
  • Use this in all print templates and applications.

Digital:

  • Use dxc.technology.
  • Make all letters in the URL lowercase.
  • Remove “www.” because the URL is in a clickable environment presented as a hyperlink.
  • Use this in all digital applications.
